Today was a kickback day for us in Jackson --- you know the kind: sleep in a bit, get used to your new surroundings and not do anything stressful. For fun, we spent a leisurely afternoon at the local County Fair.
These guys were really good --- The Three Men and a Tenor are seen here entertaining the crowd, predominantly an older group since it was Senior Day at the Fair:
This happy horse appreciated the fresh hay from a friendly hand:
We were a bit surprised to see draft horses hitched to small carts for judging purposes.
Refreshed by our long day off, tomorrow well enthusiastically begin our drive up the Lake Michigan shoreline of lower Michigan.
