Leaving Riggins behind, we continued south on Hwy 95. Although we were told later that Hwy 55 would have been more scenic, our route was, nonetheless, pretty enough. Here are two shots taken in the vicinity of New Meadows, ID:
Just west of Boise, we dropped by to visit a friend of Patty’s she hadn’t seen in years. Virginia was Patty’s mentor during her first four years of teaching in Torrance, CA. She resides permanently now in Caldwell, ID.
Eventually, we arrived in Boise, settling in at the home of my cousin and her husband. Visiting is important --- website updates can wait.
