Overview
This website describes two separate trips taken
April 2 - May 13 and June 11 - 30, 2018
-
The first journey allowed us to get reacquainted with family in Farragut TN and Lake Geneva WI as well as with friends in State College PA. The June trip was keyed to sharing a beach house on the Oregon Coast with Patty's daughter and her family. It also included time with friends in the San Francisco area. For both trips, we took advantage of as much sightseeing as possible.
Patty and I didn't get in much biking on the spring drive despite having bikes along, in large part because of weather. However, we did have better success finding dances: in Altoona PA, Duncan IA, Rapid City SD and Farmington NM. Dancing again with friends in Altoona to the music of our favorite DJ was, indeed, a highlight of that trip.

NOTES ON NAVIGATING THIS DOCUMENT
The two links, "April - May 2018" and "June 2018," lead to separate Google Albums, viewable with any MODERN browser. To close a Google Album, simply close its browser tab or its window (depending on your browser). Google provides no back button.
Each photo in the Album can be clicked to view an enlargement. In fact, all photos can be viewed in the “enlarged mode” (with black background). Doing so, however, means only a short caption is viewable for each photo rather than a more complete narrative.
The fastest/best way to view these albums may be in the "enlarged mode" with Full Screen viewing enabled and advancing the photos manually at a comfortable speed.
If you have an older browser, the only means of viewing content may be with the "Slideshow" option. This is accessible by clicking on the 3 dots aligned vertically at the top of the screen. If you can find the "i" button (HINT: Exit Full Screen), titles will also appear on the right.
If you are viewing this on an iPad --- as of May 20, 2020 --- the Chrome browser will not open the Google Albums for unknown reasons. Safari, Firefox and even the Google browser all work.
